This Side of Paradise Book Design
I was inspired by Art Deco and the Jazz Age to conceptualize this project. For the cover, I created an intricate vector composition of ornaments and lettering to represent the period and writing style of the author. The colour palette makes the title stand out and mimics a golden print finish, giving the book a mood of elegance and modernity.
This book was entirely typeset in Baskerville and Brown using InDesign. Some of the ornaments used in the cover are present in the interior design and the ePub version as well.

The Little Prince Book Cover
This is one of my favourite books of all time, which is the reason I chose it to create a version of my own. Using Illustrator, I designed a handwritten title surrounded by ornaments and complemented with vector illustrations of some of the most notable drawings of this book.
The colour palette reflects the same tones used in the classic version, and the simplified vector illustrations aim to counter the intricacy of the lettering composition.
